DIY Cozy Crochet Leg Warmers
Hey everyone! In this video, I’ll be showing you how to crochet your own cozy legwarmers. This pattern is pretty easy, and also pretty repetitious, as you’ll be repeating the same pattern for about 30 rows. So cozy up with a hot cup of something yummy and enjoy! ♥
– yarn (medium weight – I used I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby in tweed)
– 5.5 (or 6) mm crochet hook
– tapestry needle
– needle and thread
♡ TERMINOLOGY (Americanized):
♥ slip knot – the first loop that forms the foundation for your work
♥ slip stitch – insert hook into stitch, YO and pull through. You will have 2 loops on hook. Pull first loop through second.
♥ chain (ch) – with a loop on your hook, yarn over (YO) and pull through a loop.
♥ double crochet (dc) – YO and insert hook into stitch, YO and pull through. You will have 3 loops on your hook. YO and pull through 2 loops, YO and pull through remaining 2 loops.
♥ front post double crochet (fpdc): YO and insert hook horizontally behind next double crochet, YO and pull through. You will have 3 loops on your hook. YO and pull through 2 loops, YO and pull through next 2 loops.
